Explanation of walks this weekend

Yes! Of course again some nice city walks this weekend! Quickly choose which one you would like to walk this weekend!

Pay attention! The fact that the terraces are open does not mean that you can eat / drink your City Walk deal on every terrace! If there is a spot on a terrace free of the catering industry you are passing by, you can of course sit down and take your time, but this means that the reduced City Walk deal no longer applies! So take a generous amount and order something different from their great menu! Or stroll on to a bench in the neighborhood of course :)

The 11 Take it Away walk in Amsterdam Center

Think of the Jordaan / Center / West area.
Originally started as a Friday afternoon walk and it is again this week! What makes this walk so special is that you will encounter no fewer than 11 participating restaurants along the way! This is the only hike possible to do on a Friday! On Friday this walk can be done between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM and on Saturday & Sunday from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM !! Are you the real hospitality supporter and do you visit them all? Then you will also receive a medal !!

The Special Festive Spring route in Amsterdam East / Center

This route is a pleasant route with some more special and luxurious deals, so these are a maximum of 7eu each! This route stretches from Amsterdam East over the Amstel to the Utrechtsestraat and, among other things, through the well-known Reguliersdwarsstraat! Enough goodies & fun on the way !!

The City Walk from Amsterdam East through the Red Light District and back again!

A route that goes through Amsterdam East past, among other things, Scheepsvaartmuseum & Artis and then back over the Red Light District! During this route there will be a number of beer cafes waiting for you with their wide range of special beers + of course a suitable beer bite! But also a few great catering entrepreneurs who are a bit more hidden, so they are definitely worth discovering!

The City Walk in the Center of Amsterdam / Nieuwmarkt! (until 20:00!)

The part of the center that you might normally find too busy because of the tourists, or perhaps because you came there every day to go out, among other things: yes, this route is the Zeedijk, Grachtengordel and Leidseplein area. Are you still not done with beautiful Amsterdam after the terraces? Then go for a walk because that is possible until 20:00 with this walk!

The City Walk in Amsterdam West (Kinkerbuurt) (until 20:00!)

Haven't seen it for a while, but of course still great fun: West District! Think of a piece of Baarsjes, the Kinkerbuurt area and the beautiful Rembrandtpark! Again a somewhat quieter part of Amsterdam but just as nice catering on the road of course! Are you still not done with beautiful Amsterdam after the terraces? Then go for a walk because that is possible until 20:00 with this walk!

And do not forget the gem of this weekend: The Silent Disco Pontjestour! 💥🎶🎧🎵

Did someone there say Disco? Yes! Silent Disco !! Beyond that, you can do this City Walk (which is also fun on the bike!) twice a ferry across the IJ .. there is also a half hour Silent Disco on a terrace included with the most delicious hits !! Of course you also have to take a nice walk yourself! Sailing from the IJdok to Noord, again a short walk through Noord and then again across the water to Amsterdam CS. For more information about this new City Walk, visit this page!

All Saturday & Sunday routes will be open between 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM (with the exception of West & Center), between this time frame you can of course choose what time and where you start! But one tip: start on time because without stopping here and there, the walks alone are 1.5 hours of walking, so take at least 2.5 hours in total to enjoy all the goodies and beauty of Amsterdam! Make sure you choose the right day and route !!

We keep a maximum number of participants per route, because we want to avoid crowds and follow the current corona measures responsibly. That is why we hope that you will be ready again on Thursday at 14:00 to sign up for these walks! We would like to emphasize once again that due to the current corona measures, you are still only allowed on the street with 2 people. This measure also applies to our City Walks!
